Raising Standards in Education and Delivery

Qualification approval, CPD and training provider endorsement

How does it work?

We are delighted to announce the launch of a new suite of services to ensure quality through education. Our first service is the Endorsed Centre/Training Provider scheme, which allows any training provider or centre delivering an IRVAP-approved, regulated qualification to be recognised as 'Endorsed' following a business and delivery review.

Secondly, we have the CPD Course Quality Endorsement Scheme (QES) available for private companies and individuals who would like their course(s) to be endorsed by IRVAP and featured on our website and newsletter.

Finally, we have the Qualification Approval scheme. If you have written a qualification that is regulated and would like approval that on completion, graduates will qualify for membership of IRVAP. If you are thinking about developing a qualification, or are in the process of doing so and would like to achieve IRVAP approval, we are happy to discuss our standards and requirements with you.

 Costs:

Accredited Centre/Training Provider £250, with an annual renewal fee of £175.

Qualification Approval £250 (normally submitted and paid for by the Awarding Organisation)

QES Scheme: Annual fee of £250

Quality and Professionalism

Training Provider Endorsement

Becoming an endorsed training provider for the industry involves a comprehensive and rigorous process designed to uphold the highest standards of quality and professionalism. This endorsement signifies that the provider has met strict criteria, including the development of industry-relevant content, the use of qualified trainers, and the implementation of effective training methodologies. The evaluation process ensures that all training programs align with current industry needs and best practices, delivering measurable outcomes for learners. Achieving endorsement not only demonstrates a commitment to excellence but also builds trust with clients and stakeholders, positioning the provider as a credible and reliable source of professional development.

Distinguished CPD

Quality Endorsement Scheme (QES)

Putting CPD courses through our quality endorsement scheme offers a range of valuable benefits. Firstly, it provides external validation that the course meets recognised standards of quality, relevance, and effectiveness, helping to build credibility and trust with learners, employers, and industry stakeholders. This endorsement can distinguish the course in a crowded market, offering a competitive edge and increasing its appeal to potential participants. It also demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement and professional standards, enhancing the reputation of the training provider. Additionally, endorsed courses benefit from marketing support and increased visibility through IRVAP's networks. Ultimately, the process adds structure and assurance to unregulated learning, giving learners confidence that their time and investment are well placed.

Qualification Approval

Getting your qualification approved by a professional body carries significant benefits, both for the training provider and the learners. Approval signifies that the qualification meets the professional standards and expectations of the industry, ensuring that the content is relevant, up to date, and aligned with current best practices. This recognition enhances the credibility and value of the qualification, making it more attractive to employers and increasing the employability of learners. For providers, it demonstrates a commitment to delivering high-quality education and strengthens their reputation within the sector. It may also open up further opportunities for collaboration, funding, and access to professional networks. Overall, approval by a professional body adds prestige, trust, and long-term value to the qualification.
